Volunteer for the Durham Art Walk Holiday Market!
Join us as a volunteer for a terrific cultural event that not only celebrates the arts, but also builds community and helps revitalize downtown Durham!
The Durham Art Walk Holiday Market will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 18 & 19, 2017.

There are many different volunteer roles available. Below is a list of some of these roles with brief descriptions:
Experienced Art Walk volunteers who would like to oversee the smooth running of a specific area. Each Captain is given a designated area in which they are the main point person for other volunteers and DAC staff if there are any problems or questions.
Art Walk Greeters
Greeters welcome the public to the event and encourage donations to support the arts.
Information Table Assistants/Counters
Volunteers at the information table in the lobby of the Durham Arts Council will hand out Durham Art Walk maps, take registrations for art raffle, provide friendly assistance to people who need it, give out literature on Durham Arts Council events, classes, etc. and sell Durham Art Walk T-shirts. Will also count how many people attend the festival with the help of a tally counter.
These volunteers visit the artist sites to ensure that the artists have all they need to succeed during Art Walk.
Help hang Durham Art Walk signage around downtown in the days before the event, help post flyers, help set up signage at the Durham Arts Council the Friday evening before the event.
Event set up on the Friday evening before the event or the morning of the event. Help organize table displays, volunteer stations, art raffle items and registration, etc.
